Reliable for daily payments
I've been using PhonePe for ages now, mostly for UPI transfers and DTH recharges. It's consistently reliable. My recent DTH recharge was quick, just like always, and I even got some cashback which was a nice bonus. No complaints there. Compared to my first few transactions years ago, the app feels much smoother now. It's my go-to for most bill payments because it just works without fuss.
Good for recharges, slow support
I used PhonePe to recharge my mobile and pay the electricity bill last week. The mobile top-up was instant, which was great. The electricity bill payment also went through fine, got a small scratch card that gave 15 rupees cashback. The app interface is pretty clean and easy to navigate generally. But I had an issue linking my new bank account and customer support took nearly 3 days to respond to my query. Could be faster.
